Microsoft Hololens 2 offers the most comfortable and immersive mixed reality experience available today. With a number of important adjustments compared to the previously released Hololens 1 sets the Microsoft Hololens 2 a new standard in Augmented Reality.
The Hololens 2 has been enhanced by greatly enlarging the field of view. As a result, holograms and other 3D images are displayed much better and you can use the Hololens 2 even better in practice. Some ergonomic adjustments have also been made to the Microsoft Hololens 2 to make it more comfortable and to hold it up for a longer period of time without any problems.
The Hololens 2 is a standalone headset, which means that it does not need to be connected to an external PC. Tracking is also done from the headset itself, making the Microsoft Hololens 2 ideal for mobile use and mobility.

The Microsoft Hololens 2 seeks to improve the mixed reality experience and again appears to be a market-leading product in its own right. Whether these improvements will be worthwhile for the average HoloLens user is unclear, especially given its hefty price tag. Microsoft's Greg Sullivan, chief of communications for the HoloLens division, tells us that Microsoft Hololens 2 will remain a commercial device for years to come. Simply put, it's still just too expensive to develop the product against one price that the Consumer would like.
That said, this is a big step forward for the company, with improvements in field of view proving to be one of the key elements in keeping the mixed reality space moving.
