Preventing Sun Damage to Your VR Headset
With all VR headsets, but especially with standalone headsets, such as the Oculus Quest 2, it is vital to keep the glasses out of the sun at all times. Even the smallest rays of sunlight that are aimed directly at the lenses of the VR glasses can cause a burn mark on the lenses. These spots can be recognized by a (often) dark dot surrounded by a light circle. In some cases, the burn is so bad that it even appears to be a large smeared spot.

New Expected VR headsets from HTC Vive
HTC plans to announce two new HTC headsets at the Vivecon event: the HTC Vive Pro 2 and the HTC Vive Focus 3 (Business Edition). Both VR headsets are fully aimed at enterprises - and can therefore be purchased with a business warranty. We expect the Vive Focus 3 to come with this business warranty as standard, and the Vive Pro 2 to offer it as an option. Both new headsets are expected to be available in May 2021.
